About Course
One space. Three colours. A considered plan.
On this free practice course you will design a colour and material palette for one room or a small corner. Learn to observe surfaces, compare colours in different light and explain your decisions. Finish with a written plan that you can develop using real material samples.
By the end you can
- Define the use of a space and three words describing the intended mood.
- Compare matt and glossy surfaces, pattern and texture.
- Give a base, supporting colour and accent different roles.
- Check a palette in daylight and evening lighting.
- Present material choices and outstanding checks in a clear plan.
